STMicroelectronics NFC Chips Now Available for NFCKEY
NFCKEY Now Built on Two Leading Chip Platforms
NFCKEY has added STMicroelectronics chip technology to its product line. Three ST25 NFC chip types are now available alongside the full range of NXP® chip families, giving integrators, developers, and product teams more flexibility when selecting the right chip for their deployment.
All ST-based NFCKEY units share the same premium build: 51 x 24.66 x 3.8 mm, approximately 4.8 g, HP Indigo full-color printing, designed to IP68 ingress protection standards, self-repairing coating, and Reinforced Sleeve Mount rated to 40 kg tensile load.
ST25TA64K
The ST25TA64K is an NFC Forum Type 4 Tag with 64 Kbit of memory, designed for NDEF-based interactions. It is well suited for applications like digital profiles, smart business cards, URL launching, and app-triggered NFC actions. Communicates via ISO 14443 Type A at 13.56 MHz.
ST25TN01K
The ST25TN01K includes a tamper-detection loop and augmented NDEF capabilities. It is built for applications that require physical integrity verification, such as brand protection, product authentication, sealed packaging, and secure asset tracking.
ST25TV16KC
The ST25TV16KC supports an untraceable mode that allows the tag to become invisible to unauthorized readers. This makes it a fit for privacy-sensitive deployments including personal credentials, secure access control, and scenarios where anonymous NFC interactions are needed.

Programming
ST-based NFCKEY units can be programmed directly from a smartphone using the free ST25 NFC Tap app for iOS and Android. Chips ship blank by default.
